Positive coronavirus cases in Tijuana are on the rise

The positivity rate in positive cases of coronavirus in Baja California is 50%

On Saturday, July 25, Head of the Department of Health Alonso Perez Rico and the current governor of Baja California released the coronavirus update in the state.

Currently the Mexican country registers more than 378 thousand accumulated positive cases.

The state of Baja California has 12 thousand 817 confirmed coronavirus cases, 2 thousand 505 unfortunate deaths from this virus, and 978 suspicious cases. The reported cases and deaths are distributed throughout the state as follows:

Tijuana 3 thousand 784
Mexicali 6 thousand 686
Ensenada one thousand 382
Tecate 304
Rosarito 165
San Quintin/Vicente Guerrero 292

Of the 2 thousand 505 confirmed deaths in the state, the city of Tijuana has one thousand and 58, Mexicali 183, Ensenada 166, Tecate 73, Rosarito 14, San Quintin/VG 10 and San Felipe 1.

The suspicious cases are alarming for the state because the rate of positive cases for this virus is more than 50%. The city of Tijuana is reporting an increase in positive cases of this virus.

The state of Baja California will change to orange light starting on Monday, July 27th, in spite of this, citizens should remember that the use of face masks is mandatory and try not to go out if it is not necessary.
