The situation in the hospitals that are fighting against COVID-19 is not optimal. In Baja California there is discussion that the General Hospital is overcrowded, while in other states the situation is not better. However, there are Mexicans who refuse to stop the celebrations: only this weekend a wedding and illegal bar in Mexico City was closed.

The wedding was held in Naucalpan, where there is a saturation in hospitals because of COVID-19. The party was not at all modest as it was attended by more than 300 guests. It was the neighbors who, concerned about the concentration of people, alerted the authorities.

The organizers of the wedding believed that by placing canvases on the fences and walls they could avoid being detected (or photographed). However, when the police arrived, they reported that the guests did not respect the healthy distance and did not wear a mask.

On the other hand, in the Miguel Hidalgo mayor's office, authorities reported that after a review of establishments, they located a bar that was operating illegally. There were about 100 people in the establishment and, as in the meeting mentioned above, the guests did not have mask either.

So far, Mexico City reports about 265 thousand cases of COVID-19, while accounting for 14 thousand 722 deaths. In total, Mexico has 1 million 36 thousand 75 cases of coronavirus, according to the last update, and exceeds 114 thousand deaths from this disease.
