School principal commits suicide in Disneyland California

51-year-old Christopher wrote a goodbye note on social media, asking to be remembered for his work in education

Last December 3rd, 2022, 51-year-old Christopher Christensen took his own life, throwing himself off a structure at the Disneyland California parking lot.

According to reports, Anaheim police officers received an incident report at 9 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2022; once they arrived at the scene, officers found the lifeless body. Orange County coroners confirmed the identity of this person. Moments later, the officers determined that this incident was a suicide.

Christensen had dedicated his life to education; during his 22 years of work, he worked in the Fountain Valley district at Roch Ourreges elementary school and Fulton and Moiola high schools.

It seems that the incident regarding his death is related to an argument he had with his wife a few weeks ago; due to this argument, he ended up in jail, according to a post on social media. Christopher spent two days in jail and then paid a $10,000 dollar bail and was released. On his final note, he highlighted the errors and failures of the justice system, which decided to put in jail a man who had never had any assault crimes, without any witnesses or evidence.

On this same post, one can read Christopher Christensen’s wish to be remembered as someone who gave it his all to the education world during his active period.
