Hospital occupancy increases in Baja California due to COVID-19

So far, 271 hospitalized patients are registered and 137 are intubated

Baja California continues to be in orange, a color that it may remain a little longer, since until this Wednesday, November 18, the state registered a decrease in its active cases, which total 285.

However, the people who arrived in the last few days have been hospitalized, as mentioned by the Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico.

Therefore, the hospital occupation increased in the state from 25.47% to 44.17% in one month, having currently 271 hospitalized patients, and with an availability of 442 beds and 161 ventilators.

According to what was presented by the head of the Ministry of Health, today the entity reports 137 intubated patients, whereas a month ago there were 75 people in this condition.

Meanwhile, the accumulated positive cases total 23 thousand 698 and the people who have unfortunately lost their lives because of COVID-19 have been 4 thousand and 61. In the case of those who have recovered, 18 thousand 290 have been registered.
