Mexican Army To Participate In TV Series

"Los Combates de Celaya" will be produced by Eric del Castillo

MEXICO.- A new television series, directed by Miguel Rico and produced by Mexican actor, Eric del Castillo has recently started filming in Comonfort, Guanajuato. The show titled "Los Combates de Celaya" is an action series where we will see real Mexican Army elements acting and helping others imitate de way they should move in order to personify a serviceman.

"The Army helps us a lot with technical training so the actors can act as soldiers, from the way they salute, to their posture, to the way they carry a gun, just as they did in the 1915 battle" revealed the director during an interview with Milenio.

Los Combates de Celaya is a proposal that seeks to portray the out coming of the Mexican Revolution. The series will have a guest appearance from Kate del Castillo, actress and daughter of the producer. Castillo will only have three days to film her role in the series, once production in wrapped up it will be broadcasted on Channel 22 (Mexican television) and TV UNAM.
