Marina del Pilar will boost help for this disadvantaged community in Baja California in partnership with the federal government

Marina del Pilar vila Olmeda, the governor of Baja California, spoke on the final day of the "Con el Corazón por Alante" festival in the Mariano Matamoros neighborhood, which drew over 5,000 people, to reaffirm the state's commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, such as people with disabilities.

As a result, she will bring to the Congress of Baja California an idea to provide comprehensive support to persons with disabilities in the state, in collaboration with Mexico's President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

It is an activity that is consistent with the Fourth Transformation's social policies, in which priority has been given to those who have the least and which has reflected a genuine societal need.

She went on to say that the proposed budget for social expenditure in 2022 contains an unprecedented investment in infrastructure and is a budget project of 62 thousand 878 million pesos, which, among other things, marks a historic jump in assistance for individuals with disabilities.

During the "Day with the Heart Ahead," which was held in the East Zone because it is a priority area for the state administration, the president noted that, in addition to prioritizing gender issues, people with disabilities, the elderly, indigenous peoples, and youth, four billion pesos in high-impact projects are planned for the coming year in all of Baja California's municipalities.

The state president sent the Bill of Income and Expenditure Budget 2022 to the deputies who make up the State Congress, with the axes of increased financial autonomy, increased investment due to the multiplier effect on tax revenues, effective budget control, and restructuring processes in the water utilities and the ISSSTECALI.

It's worth noting that the creation of 100 additional police officer roles is also suggested due to the new citizen security strategy and the establishment of the new Secretariat.

The financial package offered by Governor Marina del Pilar via the State Finance Secretariat is based on a plan that allows for the normalization of public financial performance to attain a budget balance for the first time in many years.

This Bill of Income and Expenditure Budget is part of a multi-year financial plan for the years 2022-2027, which proposes correcting the state's public finances in the coming year to eliminate the inertial behavior that has resulted in a significant increase in liabilities over the last decade.

She also reaffirmed his commitment to approaching the 2021 budget with a social conscience.

It is a location that will cater to children with cancer and other health facilities and will directly help pediatric oncology patients.

Marina del Pilar praised the efforts of the IMSS's General Director and the institution's readiness to help Baja Californians.
