Marina del Pilar is ranked as one of the best governors in Mexico

This is not the first time the Governor of Baja California is rated as one of the favorite governors of Mexico

Massive Caller revealed through its monthly governor’s approval rating poll that Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, Governor of Baja California, has one of the highest approval ratings among her citizens.

The Governor was placed in 3rd place nationwide with a 58.5% approval rating, while also being among the first places regarding perception of crime and insecurity, being ranked 8th place. This most likely means that the population feels safe under Marina del Pilar’s administration.

This is not at all, however, as Marina del Pilar was also ranked as the 2nd governor in all of Mexico with the highest levels of trust among her citizens, only bested by the administration of Mauricio Villa Dosal, Governor of Yucatán, while the governor with the lowest levels of trust was Miguel Barbosa, Governor of Puebla.

This was not the first time the Baja Californian Governor was rated as one of the favorite governors in Mexico. Last December, the Mitofsky poll concluded that she is one of the most popular governors, among both men and women, in the entire country.

Likewise, in the Mitofsky ranking she was only bested by PAN Governor Mauricio Villa of Yucatán with an approval rating of 72.4%, PRI Governor Miguel Riquelme of Coahuila with 69.5%, and PRD Governor Carlos Joaquín González of Quintana Roo with 63.8%.

The Massive Caller poll by Carlos Campos was carried out through a “robot” technique with recordings sent to homes answered by the interviewee. These calls were made randomly so as to be representative.
