Baja California is integrated into the general assembly of the National Anticorruption System

The Baja Californian state will begin to be a part of the federal entities that will collaborate between each other in order to establish anticorruption federalism

The head of the Secretariat of Honesty and Public Work, Rosina del Villar Casas, attended the historic event of the establishment of the General Assembly of the National Anticorruption System (SNA), next to several important public figures of the different levels of government; she was a representative of the government of Baja California.

The official stated that the current state administration works according to the policies of the SNA, looking for actions by the three levels of government to build collaborative processes that allow the promotion of the fight against corruption at any time.

In addition, Del Villar Casas reiterated her commitment to formalizing this institutional mechanism that allows for the establishment of anticorruption federalism. Baja California will be a part of the federal entities that will collaborate between each other to establish this anticorruption federalism with concrete actions to prevent and deter corruption.

On the other hand, the president of the Coordinating Committee of SNA, Francisco Raúl Álvarez Córdova, stated that the beginning and set up stages occurred from 2015 to today, and in 2023 the consolidation stage will begin.

The Assembly of the National Anticorruption System is an excellent opportunity so that the representatives of federal states standardize efforts and coordinating actions to promote a culture of legality, transparency, and holding public officials accountable.

At this event the following people participated: Senior Auditor of the Federation, David Rogelio Colmenares Páramo; president of the Coordinating Committee of SNA, Francisco Raúl Álvarez Córdova; members of SNA, representatives of the state and federal legislative branch, some state governors, academic institutions, and private sector representatives.
