Crossing the border from San Ysidro to Tijuana is getting worse every day

Traffic at the port of entry is getting worse! Social media users claim that they have waited in line for at least 1 hour and 30 minutes to get into Tijuana

Social media users warn that there is a waiting time of at least 1 hour and 30 minutes to cross into Tijuana from the San Ysidro port of entry, as the traffic here is almost suffocating.

According to members of the Facebook group, "Cómo Está la Línea", long lines from the San Ysidro port of entry to Tijuana have been reported for 5 hours. However, despite the fact that users on social media have said this, apps are saying the opposite.

Despite the fact that Google Maps has said that there's a delay of no greater than 30 minutes in the area, on social media people claim that waiting times are much longer, while others say that the situation is getting worse.

Waiting times are also very long the other way around, i.e., to cross from Tijuana to San Diego. In San Ysidro, the general lane and the Ready Lane both exceed 2 and a half hours, while the pedestrian lane has a waiting time of 20 minutes; the pedestrian Ready Lane is practically empty.

The line at El Chaparral is around 25 minutes, both Ready Lane and the general lane, while the pedestrian line's waiting time is only about 5 minutes.
