Civil Protection issues recommendations due to rain forecast in Tijuana

The city will say goodbye to the old year with rain and isolated showers

There is a 54% chance that rains come to the city in the early morning of Saturday, according to weather platform Meteored. It is expected that rains are light and temperatures reach a maximum of 17°C and a minimum of 11°C.

According to Civil Protection, rain and isolated showers in the city will extend until the morning of Saturday. Winds of 15 to 30 km/hour are also expected.

The Civil Protection Agency of Tijuana and mayor Montserrat Caballero recommend people the following:

• Protect children, seniors, and people sensitive to weather changes.
• If leaving home, do it with caution.
• Keep an eye on cables and electric wiring that could fall.
