TIJUANA.- Colectivo 9 is a new gastronomic urban street-food project that was created by a group of people that are passionate about food. And you can really tell just by the taste of the food, the look of each stall, and the environment itself.
Currently, there are seven open stalls, with different types of food for all sorts of cravings depending on what you are up for: hamburgers, seafood, Mexican food, Asian food, etc....
At first glance, you wouldn't think that the simple entry-way could lead you to this place. But after walking down a long hallway, lined with shuttered shops, is a gastronomic patio. The space is really great, and is decorated nicely. Each stall has its own style,
each in its own way to contribute to the essence of this project.
Check out the video for more views of the place and the food.
In addition to food there is beer sold by Barrica 9, located in stall #2. They will also sell craft beer soon.

Colectivo9 is located on Revolucion Blvd., between 6th and 7th street. The patio is located at the end of a long passageway and is easy to miss, so look for their banner.
[p]Tijuana's downtown is slowly removing the abandoned and old look of its shops, and is slowly becoming renovated by new projects mainly created by the younger population. All along the main drag, you will find new shops selling clothes, crafts and mostly food specially aimed at locals, and also becoming one of the main tourist attractions for the city.
Colectivo 9 is a new place to add to this resurge, and offer a place to enjoy the flavors this city has to offer and the company of those around you. Congrats to Colectivo 9's current tenants and those to come.
