TIJUANA.- The 'Emprende Tijuana' Experience, inaugurated today, with the participation of 31 exhibitors that will share their abilities, tools and methods with over 1,500 youths that attended said event summoned by the City.
During this event, the different speakers of international stature as well as the local and national talent, shared their success stories with the attendees. In the same manner, they will provide counseling and specialized training, by creating links with incubators that belong to Emprende Tijuana Ecosystem, through the Secretary of Economic Development (Sedeti).
The inauguration, which took place at the Interactive Museum El Trompo, Mayor Dr. Jorge Astiazarán Orcí pointed out that Tijuana is a city filled with work and innovators, thanks to people filled with talent, intelligence, capability and a willingness to move forward.
"I invite you to take advantage of this opportunity; this is why you are here today. Lets show the entire country and for that matter the world what Tijuana is made of. We should always keep Tijuana and its talents on our good side, and above all, do the best we can. Remember that we can all fall, but what is important is to lift ourselves up with our heads held high and keep moving on in order to succeed", said Mayor Astiazarán.
On his behalf Sedeti's President, Xavier Peniche Bustamante, detailed the Emprende Tijuana Experice saying that this is a government effort, which is backed up by specialized institutions and organizations in order to guide entrepreneurs who wish to start their own business.
As part of the activity program, conferences such as 'Re:discover your creativity' by José Zelaya from Disney's Animation Studios; 'Vlogger, the new entrepreneurship' in charge of Baja Web Fest; 'Pre Incubation Workshops, V2 Pitch Bootcamp' by the University of San Diego, and the presentation of Young Credit on behalf of National Financing (Nafin), to name a few, will be imparted.
