More than 106,000 vehicles regularized in Marina del Pilar administration in Baja California

With a September 20, 2022 deadline, the administration invites all people to take advantage of this opportunity to legalize their assets

More than 106,097 foreign vehicles have been regularized at Public Registry of Vehicles units positioning Baja California as national leader regarding public registrations of cars. Governor Marina del Pilar has revealed these facts while also encouraging Baja Claifornians to schedule their appointment to safeguard their vehicles.

Marina del Pilar highlighted that this national lead is due to the great response by foreign vehicle owners, which is mainly due to the Baja Californian support for the decree issued by the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The state governor pointed out that due to high demand for regularization appointments, the administration decided to expand working hours from 7 AM to 6 PM from Monday to Saturday at the new Vehicular Public Registry (REPUVE) units currently operating in Baja California.

For his part, Secretary of Finance Marco Antonio Moreno Mexia stated that REPUVE units at IMOS Tijuana, Mexicali and its valley, Playas de Rosarito, Ensenada, Tecate, San Quintin, and San Felipe will continue working from Monday to Saturday at the aforementioned hours, while the Otay REPUVE unit, located near sport areas, will only operate from Monday to Friday.

The state official invited all people to not miss their appointments and take advantage of the opportunity of safeguarding and legalizing their assets, since this is one of the main pillars of the Fourth Transformation.
