California has the third highest number of coronavirus deaths in the United States

New York remains the state with the most confirmed deaths by COVID-19 in the American country

The pandemic caused by the coronavirus called SARS CoV-2- which originated in Wuhan in late December 2019 continues to spread around the world. After almost 9 months of activity, the virus has managed to position the United States as one of the most affected countries and the virus has returned with greater intensity to Europe.

This Saturday, the state of California, the most affected in the United States, registered a total of 660 thousand and 7 cases of coronavirus, along with 11 thousand 990 deaths, according to information gathered by The LA Times.

Deaths registered by the virus continue to rise in the state, with 161 confirmed coronavirus deaths in just one day, along with 6 thousand 755 positive cases.

For the moment, San Diego County has been removed from the watch list of the most infected counties in California, while Los Angeles continues to spread the virus with more than 229 thousand 148 positive coronavirus cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

The state of California ranks third in the US in terms of confirmed coronavirus deaths, with New York in first place and New Jersey in second.
