As previously reported, this Saturday the head of the Secretariat of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, announced the mass vaccination points that will be installed in Tijuana for the vaccination against COVID-19 for adults over 60 years of age.

The four points are: Lazaro Cardenas Federal High School, UABC Campus Otay, Chevron Stadium (better known as Estadio de los Toros de Tijuana), and the Plaza Monumental de Playas de Tijuana.

Perez Rico has not only invited the population not to start lining up at these sites, but after starting the vaccination this Saturday in Rosarito, the Secretary urged Tijuana residents not to go to this municipality and wait for the vaccine to arrive in the border city.

It is important to remember that in addition to these massive vaccination points, at least 10 additional sites will be installed, which have not yet been announced, but most of them could be located in the eastern part of the city, he said.

Although the vaccine for Tijuana has not yet arrived, the vaccination is expected to begin next week, vaccinating between 20, thousand and 25 thousand seniors.
