Tacos With Muchachos is a capsule of the Baja Window to the South show where host Scott Koenig is joined by several different guests. In this segment, Scott and his guests go around Baja California to different taco stands to try all kinds of classic, innovative, and unusual tacos. On this occasion, he is joined by Tony Tee, owner of “Corazón de Torta” food truck in San Diego.

In this episode, they went to Tijuana's taqueria Tacos “El Meño”, established since 1968, where the main stars are the tacos de cabeza and a peculiar adobada taco in deep-fried tortilla (dorado). This cart is located at Calle Gobernador Lugo 500, Davila, 22044.

Tony stated that he doesn’t know of any other place in the city where adobada tacos are served in deep-fried tortillas, which is why these are his favorites, as well as being quite renowned by “old school” Tijuana natives. This taco also has guacamole, sauce, coriander, and grilled onions cut in slices, which both Tony and Scott really enjoyed.

This capsule of Tacos With Muchachos is a segment of the 2nd episode of Baja Window to the South, a show were all the attractions of Baja California are revealed to the audience to offer tourists, and even residents, things that they may not know about this state such as its wines, cheese, gastronomy, and even activities such as surfing.
