Stefany Ramos, minor who went missing in Tijuana, is found dead

Almost ten months after her disappearance, it was reported that the young woman was found dead

16-year-old Stefany Ramos went missing on November 27, 2021 in Tijuana, Baja California. The last time she was seen alive was in Downtown Tijuana, near Hotel Ticuán located at Calle 8, between Revolución and Constitución Avenues as she was going to work.

Almost ten months after her disappearance, it was revealed that the young woman was found dead. The group “Todos Somos Erick Carrillo” posted on their official Facebook page this horrible news:

“As an association we don’t post information without first contacting the family and asking for their authorization. We very sadly must report that we have found this young woman who had a whole life left to live. We send hugs to her mother, our partner, Zury Rodríguez,” they stated.

A few months ago, when the first reports of her disappearance began to appear, it was reported that there was a first suspect. According to Stefany’s relatives, he is the son of the owner of the same restaurant where she worked at who had a history of sexually abusing minors.

Sadly, cases like this happen all across the country. Only in the first trimester of 2022, 683 cases of missing people were registered; 96 of them were women and 115 were minors. There have been more than 14,000 disappearances in the last 15 years.
